Youssef Assarssah

Youssef Assarssah is a research fellow working with Professors Rema Hanna and Ben Olken. His work focuses on the evaluation of programs in job training, cash transfers, and social protection. Prior to joining CID, he worked at the Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (J-PAL), where he supported the implementation and analysis of a large-scale education intervention. His research interests center on how evidence can inform effective policy for poverty alleviation and inclusive development. Youssef holds an MS in quantitative economics and a BS in applied economics from Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
