This is a required module for MPP1 students who placed out of API-101 because of their prior training in economics.  The course advances students’ ability to use their microeconomic skills to analyze, develop, and critique public policies in professional settings.  It covers major public sector activities including raising revenue, alleviating poverty, providing social insurance, assessing the benefits and costs of regulations, procuring goods and services, promoting innovation, and making decisions about immigration and trade.

This is a required course for MPP students who have placed out of API-101 by taking the exemption exam.
