NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE LABOR MARKETS OF MEXICO AND THE US

Organized by Reimagining the Economy at Harvard Kennedy School, ITAM University, and Banco de México, this event convenes leading experts to discuss regional labor market trends across North America and launch the Database for Local Labor Market Analysis in Mexico, a new public resource from Banco de México. Featuring insights from the Reimagining the Economy initiative on place-based economic growth in the U.S. and new findings from Daniel Chiquiar (ITAM) on Mexico’s labor markets, the session invites policymakers, academics, and researchers to explore cross-country learning, innovative analytical tools, and collaborative strategies for advancing equitable and effective labor policies throughout the region.
