Abstract

Hydrofluorocarbons are a class of potent greenhouse gases used in refrigeration, air conditioning, fire suppression, semiconductor manufacturing, and other industrial processes. A coalition of environmental and business interests has drawn bipartisan support on cutting HFCs in ways that deliver significant U.S. economic and environmental benefits.
