The chapter underscores concerns about wealth inequality, discriminatory algorithms, privacy violations, and the commodification of data. It calls for a reevaluation of financial methodologies to address societal needs and mitigate risks, advocating for more socially responsible capital allocation and the strengthening of informational value in asset pricing.
